Philadelphia County is made up of a variety of 'neighborhoods' each with their own flavor and style. Some of our favorite areas are in Northwest Philadelphia, including the areas of Chestnut Hill, Roxborough, Manayunk and East Falls.
Chestnut Hill is described as an affluent neighborhood and an official Historic District. An abundance of Architectural Masterpieces, Parks, Gardens, Art Galleries, Antique Shops, boutiques and a array of fine restaurants and cafes line the cobble-stoned streets of the city. Chestnut Hill Real Estate offers a variety of Single Family home styles from Arts and Crafts Style to California Contemporary. Twin, Semi-detached and Row Houses are also very popular within the community.

Roxborough Real Estate offers more moderately priced homes with varying styles. Lower Roxborough offers a large variety of Townhomes and Single Family homes dating from the 1800's to the 1900's and has a historic, urban charm. Upper Roxborough is more suburban with more single family homes with large yards and shopping areas. This area of Philadelphia County is rather hilly, with the 'top' of the hill named Roxborough and the lower part of the hill named Manayunk. The area is often referred to as Roxborough/Manayunk.
Manayunk, located along the banks of the Schuylkill River and the historic Manayunk Canal, maintains its small town charm with 2 and 3 story row-homes and cobblestoned hilly streets. Newer construction has added condominiums to the available choices of Manayunk Real Estate.
Manayunk is a popular destination for business commuters and local students often populating the many local taverns and restaurants and enjoying the unique shopping, chic boutiques and abundance of home furnishing stores.
East Falls lies adjacent to Roxborough and Manayunk along the banks of the Schuykill River. The area continues to develop with upscale shopping areas, recreation centers and new housing options. East Falls Real Estate also is home to many illustrious mansions as well as recent renovations to older homes increasing the value of homes in this area.
